Top Colour Trends for Autumn 2020

As we head into September, it’s time to start thinking about the transition from Summer to Autumn. However, this year, it seems that we’ll be seeing the brighter colours we commonly associate with summer in the next season too!

According to Pantone, this year’s Autumn/Winter 2020/2021 colours “exhibit uplift, convey an optimistic sense of fun and purpose” and, essentially, will brighten the days as the evenings start to draw in.

We’ve decided to match some of our arrangements with our 3 favourite Pantone Colours for Autumn 2020, so you can follow the trend in your home.

Pantone Colour Trend Pairings 2020

PANTONE 14-0647

Pantone 14-0647 refers to a colour named Celery, a yellow-green that reflects the natural freshness of nature. Ideal for Autumn and the surrounding nature ready for its last burst of life, we think our Suffolk Sunrise arrangement matches this shade perfectly.

Pantone 17-1349 refers to a colour named Exuberance, an exuberant orange shade that radiates happiness. A reflection of the turning leaf shades on the trees and the roaring fires as the temperature starts to drop.

What better to represent this colour trend that our Premium Magic Rose in Orange? Beautifully bright, it works well in a contemporary arrangement or within a singular shade bouquet. Make a statement with multiple stems or add a few to your own vases around the house for a pop of colour.

PANTONE 19-1662

Pantone 19-1662 refers to a colour named Samba, a voluptuous, sultry red with an upbeat energy. Pair it with Exuberance, and you’ve got a fiery display that will warm and uplift any room.

We believe that our Red Solidago embodies the sultry, fiery feel that Samba has been characterised with. Its dark burgundy stem and leaves, with lighter red buds towards the head of each shoot, sit great on its own in a vase creating a bold display.
